It has been a while since the last post.
Whilst my physical fitness has not returned to the low point of several years ago. It has gone backwards and this is a setback.
The thing is I realize I have not been doing the things I should be doing on a consistent basis and by acknowledging this to you and me, this can be used as ammunition to turn things around.
Something I have noticed is the importance of sleep. I need at least seven hours minimum per night to function effectively. What is the point of running for good health when your sleeping patterns are out of whack. This just will not work and I know it.
I visited my General Practitioner recently and he indicated my cholesterol levels were a little above the norm. I have had conversations with my GP in the past, but this time this was different. I could carry on agreeing with his recommendations, but not doing anything or I could put into place a couple of action steps to improve my cholesterol levels, but also my general heath and fitness.
What this means:
1. Getting enough sleep.
2. Finding the time of day for regular exercise that best suits me.
3. Minimizing the amount of “rubbish” food I consume.
As you can see setbacks can happen to anyone, even me. I am not going to give up and I hope you find a way to carry on with your goals, defeating your setbacks with more comebacks.
